Gwinnett/Duluth CPA: Hope you had a blessed Father’s Day
Hope you had a blessed Fathers Day celebrating the amazing men in your life and also gave thanks to the greatest Father there is; the One who loves you with an unconditional love!!! Our prayer this week is that the Lord rekindles your passion for the lost. You dont have to go overseas to reach the lostthe lost are in your schools, neighborhoods, sport teams, book clubs, and even churches! Paul says in Romans 9 that he would rather be cursed and cut off from Christ if others would be saved. Paul was passionate for the lost. He loved Christ so much and yet was willing to give up his own salvation if that meant others could know him. Do you have that kind of love? Step out of your comfort zone this week. Go one step further and ask someone how they are doing. Build relationships with the intention of sharing Christ with them, both through your life and your words. Passionately pursue the lost as God has passionately pursued you!
Last week, we were given another home (the attorneys are working on the transfer now) in Forest Park which we are wanting to bless a mother and four children with. It is going to need a lot of work to get them moved in so please let us know if you are interested in helping. We are in desperate need of another home for our men too. Right now we have over 25 men and we have some of them sleeping on the floor. We are turning away men every day too so the need is great. Who would have thought the ministry would have grown this much since 12 years ago when 7 was released from prison!!!
Pastor 7 has been blessed with a vacation for a week of rest and refreshment in the Lord! There is much on his shoulders in running this ministry and this will give him a chance to seek the Lord without distractions. Please be praying for him as he goes and pray for the ministry as we are holding down the fort here. All operations will continue as normal here so please come serve with us if you are able! This week, we have teams in from North Carolina and Virginia and already have had a powerful time with them. Continue to pray that lives are transformed both on the streets and among the team.
Lord willing, we will have another update next week. Until then, know you are blessed and highly favored!!!!
